Frequently Asked Questions
Practical answers about MCC bucket identification, quotations, orders, shipping, repair parts, and safety.
Identification and Fit
How do I identify my MCC bucket?
Start with the MCC structure and bucket nameplates. Send full front, operator, interior, rear-stab, and dimension photos. Do not approve a replacement from the handle alone.
Are buckets from different MCC models interchangeable?
Usually not. The door, operator, mounting, stabs, width, height, and section construction must match the actual lineup. Some related platforms may share components, but fit must be confirmed for the job.
What ratings should I provide?
Send voltage, phase, frequency, amperage, disconnect or starter type, available fault current or required interrupting/SCCR rating, control voltage, and load data.
Products and Quotes
What is included with an online bucket?
The product page and order confirmation control. Review the listed size, rating, components, included hardware, price, shipping, and delivery terms before checkout.
Can MCC Depot build a starter or VFD bucket?
Yes, these are quoted from the motor, load, controls, environment, available space, and existing MCC details. Send the motor nameplate and control requirements.
Can you replace an obsolete bucket?
MCC Depot can review obsolete equipment for a standard replacement, custom build, or retrofit. Clear photos, nameplates, dimensions, ratings, and drawings are required.
How do I get repair-part pricing?
Search by part number or description in the repair-parts catalog, then call or email for current price and availability. Include the equipment model and photos when the part number is uncertain.
What warranty coverage applies?
Warranty coverage depends on the product and written order terms. Review the quote or order confirmation for the applicable coverage, exclusions, and claim instructions, or contact MCC Depot with the order number.
Orders and Shipping
How is lead time confirmed?
Current lead time is shown on the product, quote, or order confirmation. Custom work and expedited requests are confirmed after the complete scope is reviewed.
How will my order ship?
Small parts and eligible buckets may ship by parcel carrier; larger equipment may require freight. The order or quote identifies the shipping method and charges.
What should I do if freight arrives damaged?
Inspect before signing, note visible damage on the carrier receipt, photograph the packaging and equipment, keep the packaging, and contact MCC Depot with the order number.
Can custom products be returned?
Custom-built, configured, modified, installed, damaged, or special-order products may not be returnable. Contact MCC Depot for authorization before shipping anything back.
Safety and Support
Who should install or service MCC equipment?
