About GE / ABB Motor Control Centers
GE (General Electric) manufactured motor control centers for decades before selling their industrial solutions business to ABB in 2018. Their MCC lineup included the popular Spectra series, AF-3000, AF-4000, and earlier GE 8000 line systems. ABB continues to support current models while many legacy GE systems remain in service.
We manufacture MCC buckets compatible with both vintage GE and current ABB systems. Our buckets match the mechanical dimensions, stab configuration, and electrical specifications of your existing lineup, whether it was installed in 1980 or 2020.
GE/ABB Models We Support
GE Spectra Series
One of the most widely installed motor control center lines in North America. Spectra MCCs are known for their robust construction and modular design. We build buckets with correct stab pattern (3-stab or 4-stab depending on vintage), proper door latching, and component mounting that matches your existing sections.

AF-3000 / AF-4000
GE's later generation motor control centers featuring improved arc-flash mitigation, easier service access, and better cable management. Now supported by ABB, these systems are still actively manufactured. We build compatible buckets for expansions or replacements at competitive prices with faster delivery than OEM.
Note: AF series uses different stab configuration than older Spectra
GE 8000 Line
Vintage GE motor control centers from the 1970s-1980s. The 8000 line MCCs are completely obsolete but many remain in daily operation. We reverse-engineer these systems from photos and measurements to build exact replacements. Includes support for unique stab patterns and door hardware no longer manufactured.

ABB Current Production
ABB continues the GE MCC legacy with updated Arc Guard systems and MNS iS motor control centers. We can build compatible buckets for these systems using modern components and following ABB's design standards, typically at lower cost and faster delivery than going through ABB directly.
